Vettikode Temple Festival Begins Sunday; Minister Liju to Inaugurate

The Punartham, Pooyam, and Ayilyam festival at Vettikode Nagaraja Swamy Temple begins Sunday, with Minister M. Liju inaugurating the public meeting at 10 a.m. after morning rituals. Actress Navya Nair will perform a dance recital at 6:30 p.m. Sunday. Pooyam deeparadhana is Monday at 6 p.m., and the special procession of Nagaraja is Tuesday at 3 p.m. Shops selling agricultural goods and household items are active. Police have arranged 10 parking grounds near the temple, with roadside parking banned and violators towed. Only vehicles with temple passes can enter the main gate, and buses must stop only at the new bus stop.
