Veterans raised £90k completing Arctic ultra-marathon

A group of veterans, including Karl Hinett, raised over £90,000 for charity by completing a 514km ultra-marathon in the Arctic Circle. This event marked 20 years since Hinett was injured in Iraq. The team, which included adventurer Aldo Kane and TV personality Jason Fox, finished the Montane Lapland Arctic Ultra together, setting a record as the first team to do so. The challenge involved navigating harsh conditions over 10 days. Despite personal struggles, the veterans emphasized teamwork and camaraderie throughout the journey.
