Vehari tops Multan Division in matric exams for fourth straight year

Vehari district secured first position in Multan Division in the Matriculation Examination 2026, celebrated at a ceremony in Government Model Higher Secondary School Vehari. Deputy Commissioner Khalid Javed Goraya presided over the event. Government Girls MC High School Vehari achieved the highest number of A+ grades under the Multan Board, earning first position. Officials distributed shields and certificates to head teachers of the top 10 ranked schools among 259 government high schools, with rankings based on results, attendance, and other factors. Vehari has maintained its top standing among Multan Board districts for four consecutive years. Officials credited teachers and the Education Department for the achievement, while two students received cash prizes for a speech and song.
