UTI Mutual Fund launches new quant fund for long-term growth

UTI Mutual Fund has introduced the UTI Quant Fund, an open-ended equity scheme aimed at long-term capital growth through a quantitative investment strategy. The fund will be available for subscription from January 2 to January 16, 2025. The fund will invest 80-100% in equity and equity-related instruments based on quantitative themes, with a benchmark of BSE 200 TRI. It will be managed by Sharwan Kumar Goyal and Deepesh Agarwal. Investors can start with a minimum of Rs 1,000. The fund will charge a 1% exit load if shares are redeemed within 90 days. After that, there will be no exit load.
