The Utah Jazz defeated the Washington Wizards 128-112 on Wednesday, ending their 10-game losing streak. The game took place in Salt Lake City. Kyle Filipowski scored 21 points, and Keyonte George added 20 points to help the Jazz secure their first win of March. Utah took control in the second half with a 14-0 run, building a 21-point lead. The Jazz now have a record of 16-54, while the Wizards dropped to 15-53. Colby Jones was the top scorer for Washington, finishing with 24 points. The Wizards started strong, leading by 11 points early in the game. However, the Jazz fought back and went into halftime with a slim lead of 64-63. Brice Sensabaugh made a buzzer-beater three-pointer right before the break. In the third quarter, Sensabaugh’s scoring helped push Utah's lead to 89-81. As the fourth quarter began, the Jazz maintained a seven-point advantage. Sensabaugh contributed to a crucial 14-0 run that extended their lead to 111-90. Although Washington made a late attempt to come back, they could not close the gap in the final minutes. The Jazz scored the final seven points of the game to secure the win.
