Utah influencer dies from injuries in Cancun accident

Elise Caffee, a Utah travel influencer, has died a week after suffering severe burns in a 10-car pileup in Cancun, Mexico. Her family announced her passing on Instagram, expressing their heartbreak. Caffee was injured when a truck carrying hot asphalt overturned during the accident, trapping her underneath. While her husband sustained minor injuries, their driver was killed in the crash. After being stabilized, Caffee was flown to a burn unit in Salt Lake City. Her family was able to visit her before she passed away, and they expressed gratitude for the care she received.
