UTA signs Cape Verde keeper Marcio Rosa, who watched from Arad stands

UTA has agreed to sign Cape Verde goalkeeper Marcio Rosa, who watched Friday's match against Rapid from the stands, creating immediate competition for the starting role. Arpad Tordai, who replaced Andrei Gorcea in goal, kept a clean sheet against Rapid and was named man of the match with four saves. Coach Adrian Mihalcea confirmed all three goalkeepers will compete. Tordai, who signed in January after two years in Lithuania, learned about the transfer in an interview and wished Rosa success. Rosa, an unused World Cup reserve, previously played for Bulgarian clubs Hebar and Montana.
