USMNT sets four friendlies against Peru, Chile, Mexico, and Canada

The U.S. Men’s National Team announced four friendlies for the September-October FIFA international window, starting with matches against Peru and Chile before facing 2026 World Cup co-hosts Mexico and Canada. The USMNT will play Peru in Orlando on September 26th and Chile in St. Louis on September 29th, followed by Mexico in Glendale on October 3rd and Canada in St. Paul on October 6th. These are the team’s first matches since their World Cup elimination. The friendlies come after head coach Mauricio Pochettino was re-signed through the 2030 World Cup cycle. The matches offer preparation ahead of November’s Concacaf Nations League quarterfinals, with Peru and Chile ranked 50th and 49th respectively, while Mexico and Canada sit 10th and 30th.
