Researchers found that 11 minutes of isometric handgrip exercise reduced systolic and diastolic blood pressure in sedentary Malay men. Participants with higher blood pressure saw the greatest benefits. This exercise requires no equipment and could be a complementary strategy for cardiovascular health, though it should not replace medical treatment. Further studies are planned.
