USA and Iran resume nuclear talks in Oman

The United States and Iran will hold a new round of nuclear talks in Oman on Sunday, confirmed by Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi. The talks will be mediated by Oman. Special envoy Steve Witkoff will represent the United States in the talks, according to a source. The fourth round of talks was originally scheduled for May 3rd but was postponed due to "logistical reasons." These discussions follow previous nuclear energy talks between the two countries that began on April 12th. The talks aim to gradually address the details of the Iranian nuclear program.
