US sanctions 19 Indian companies for supporting Russia's war in Ukraine

The United States has imposed sanctions on 19 Indian companies as part of a broader action against nearly 400 entities for allegedly supporting Russia's war in Ukraine. These companies are accused of supplying critical technologies to Russia. The sanctions also target firms from China, Switzerland, Thailand, and Turkey, as well as senior Russian defense officials. In response, India's Ministry of External Affairs stated that the sanctioned companies have not violated Indian laws.
