US invites applications for digital content creators boot camp in Manila
The U.S. has opened applications for its Young Southeast Asian Leaders Initiative (YSEALI) boot camp in Manila, aimed at emerging content creators from ASEAN countries and Timor-Leste. The program includes virtual sessions on April 5-6 and in-person workshops from May 28 to June 1. Participants aged 18 to 35 will learn media literacy and digital content creation skills. They must have at least 1,000 social media followers and have created content for the past three months. Applications are due by January 31. After the boot camp, participants can apply for grants of PHP224,000 (USD4,000) and receive mentoring for new projects. They will also join the U.S. international exchange alumni network for further opportunities.
