UPPSC rejects 1,168 divisional inspector exam applications

The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has rejected applications from 1,168 candidates for the Divisional Inspector (Technical) Examination-2020, citing missing qualifications, incomplete forms, and document issues. The roll numbers and rejection reasons have been posted on the commission's official website. The largest share of rejections, 599, was due to candidates lacking mandatory qualifications, while 441 applications were cancelled for incomplete online submissions before the deadline. Additionally, 100 candidates failed to send hard copies by March 3, 2022, and 30 were rejected after discrepancies were found in their experience certificates. Candidates wishing to challenge the decision can submit an appeal to the commission's secretary in person or via registered post by 5 pm on August 10. UPPSC deputy secretary Rajesh Kumar confirmed that late applications will not be considered.
