UP woos global firms for defense corridor investment

A Uttar Pradesh delegation is inviting global companies to invest in the state's defense corridor, aiming to boost defense production. The delegation, led by the Chief Secretary, met with representatives from various companies and government officials at the DEFEA-2025 exhibition in Athens, Greece, from May 6-8. Greece and Armenia expressed interest in investing in Uttar Pradesh's defense sector. This marks UP's first participation in such a large international defense exhibition, promoting the state's defense industrial corridor as a future global hub.
