UP PCS exam 2025 attracts over 626,000 applicants

Over 626,000 candidates have applied for the Uttar Pradesh Combined State/Upper Subordinate Services Examination (PCS) 2025, indicating high competition for the 210 available posts. The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission received applications starting February 20th, with the preliminary exam scheduled for October 12th. This marks the first time in two years that applications have exceeded 600,000, with nearly 3,000 candidates per position.
