University student fatally attacked by pit bulls while dog-sitting

A university student was fatally attacked by three pit bulls while dog-sitting. Police arrived to find the dogs still mauling her and shot one to stop the attack. The 23-year-old victim, Madison Riley Hull, was in the garden when emergency services were called. An officer was treated for minor injuries after one of the dogs turned on him. The surviving pit bulls will be euthanized. Madison was studying Early Childhood Education and was six months from graduating. Her mother has started a fundraiser in her memory.
