Universal Studios Japan reveals Donkey Kong ride ahead of Epic Universe opening in Orlando

Universal Studios Japan has announced the opening of its Donkey Kong Country area on December 11, featuring the Mine-Cart Madness ride. This attraction will also be part of the upcoming Epic Universe park in Orlando, set to open on May 22, 2024. The Mine-Cart Madness ride includes a unique in-car leap over a gap in the tracks. The ride vehicles, designed to resemble mine cars, can hold four passengers and have a height requirement of 36 inches. The preview video, led by Nintendo's Shigeru Miyamoto, showcased the ride's vibrant design and elements inspired by the original Donkey Kong game. Other attractions at Super Nintendo World include Mario Kart: Bowser’s Challenge and Yoshi’s Adventure.
