An unidentified drone exploded in Bulgaria on Saturday near the Romanian border and a gas pipeline, causing no casualties or damage, Prime Minister Rumen Radev said. Radev briefed the Security Council. Detected at 8:10 a.m., 100 meters from the Romanian border, the drone exploded in a sunflower field, 200 meters from a former checkpoint and 1,000 meters from a Bulgarian gas compressor station. Police and military are securing the area. Radev said the drone was not a toy and carried enough explosives; it flew too low for radar coverage. Bulgaria tightened security at strategic sites. Russian drones have entered NATO states, including Romania and Poland.
