Ukrainian Prosecutor General announces suspicions in Kyiv SBU-GUR shooting case

Two participants in the September 1 Kyiv shooting between SBU and GUR servicemen have been notified of suspicion, Ukraine's Prosecutor General Ruslan Kravchenko announced. An SBU employee and a GUR serviceman are now suspects in the criminal case. The SBU employee is suspected of exceeding authority with violence or weapons, while the GUR serviceman faces charges of attempting the life of a law enforcement officer. A complex of forensic examinations has been ordered to establish all circumstances of the shooting. A separate investigation has been opened into the disappearance of a Russian Volunteer Corps serviceman. The incident occurred in the Dnipro district, with conflicting versions presented by the SBU and lawyers involved in the case.
