Ukrainian military reports multiple Russian drone attacks on Kyiv
Ukraine's military reported multiple waves of Russian drone attacks on Kyiv, prompting air defense units to respond for several hours. Air raid alerts were issued across Kyiv and eastern Ukraine since early Monday morning. Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko confirmed that enemy drones were detected over the capital. Ukrainian General Serhiy Popko stated that all attacking drones were either destroyed or neutralized, with no casualties or damage reported. The drone attacks followed Ukraine's strike on a Russian weapons depot in Volgograd, where a fire and ammunition detonation were observed. Russia claimed to have shot down numerous Ukrainian drones in response.
