Ukrainian Drone Strike on Sochi Triggers Fire and Detonations

A Ukrainian drone attack on the Russian city of Sochi on the night of September 4 triggered a large fire and hours-long secondary detonations, with local authorities declaring an alert but not yet reporting on the consequences. The first explosion was reported around 1:20 AM. Preliminary reports suggest a Russian S-400 air defense system was struck, and the OSINT community Exilenova+ claims the Adler oil depot was also hit, causing the fire. Sochi's mayor urged residents to stay in shelters and banned filming. This follows explosions in Sochi on September 3 that targeted the local port.
