Ukraine's mid-October weather: up to +24°C with rain, cooling expected next week
Ukraine will experience unusually warm weather in mid-October, with daytime temperatures reaching up to +24°C, though rain and cooler nights are also forecast, according to Ukrainian hydrometeorologist Oksana Skliar. From Friday, an atmospheric front from Western Europe will bring short rains to western and northern regions, with temperatures ranging from +8 to +14°C at night and +18 to +24°C during the day. Weekend nights will be significantly colder in western and northern areas, dropping to +3 to +8°C, with near-freezing temperatures in the Carpathians. Next week, a brief cooling period is expected from October 13-16, with temperatures dropping by a few degrees and possible rain returning. However, Skliar noted this is a preliminary forecast, and conditions may change.
