Ukraine sets preliminary dates for Trump envoy meetings in Kyiv

Zelenskyy said in his evening video address that Ukraine expects to see Trump's representatives in Kyiv and is ready for substantive meetings. He emphasized the importance of continued US engagement, stating that America must remain active in the process. The visit of Trump's envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner to Kyiv has been postponed several times, including a previously reported plan for them to arrive on Ukraine's Independence Day on August 24, which was delayed.
