Ukraine sees buckwheat prices rise to nearly 41 hryvnias per kilogram

The average price of buckwheat in Ukraine has risen to nearly 41 hryvnias per kilogram. This represents an increase of over 5 hryvnias in the past month. The cheapest buckwheat can be found at Auchan for 34.39 hryvnias, while the most expensive is priced at 52.20 hryvnias at Megamarket. Other retailers like Silpo, Fora, Varus, and ATB offer prices ranging from 35.50 to 38.39 hryvnias. This price increase for buckwheat follows a general trend of rising food costs in Ukraine. Previously, the cost of chicken was also reported to be increasing.
