Ukraine seeks international partners for multibillion-dollar postwar development projects
Ukraine is seeking partnerships with other countries for postwar development projects worth billions. These projects will focus on mining rare earth elements, energy, and construction, according to Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha. Sybiha emphasized that cooperation should extend beyond rare earth materials. He highlighted Ukraine's potential to enhance European energy security by storing liquefied natural gas from the U.S. in its underground facilities. President Zelenskyy reported that the war has resulted in 45,100 Ukrainian troop deaths and nearly 390,000 injuries. He stated that U.S. military aid is crucial for maintaining European support and called for U.S. involvement in any peacekeeping efforts.
