Ukraine establishes international commission in The Hague to process war damage claims

Ukrainian President Zelensky visited the Netherlands to help establish an International Claims Commission in The Hague to process damage claims from the war. The commission, supported by 35 countries, aims to provide compensation for Ukrainians who have suffered losses due to the conflict. The primary expectation is that Russia will be held responsible for these damages. While Russia has dismissed the commission as an anti-Russian mechanism, the international community is exploring options, including the use of frozen Russian assets, to fund the compensation efforts.
