Ukraine advisor finds no evidence of FPV drones launched from jet-powered Shaheds in Kyiv attacks

Ukrainian presidential technology advisor Serhiy Beskrestnov (Flash) said he found no evidence over three days that FPV drones were launched from jet-powered Shahed drones during Russian attacks on Kyiv. Beskrestnov stated on Facebook that Russian forces have experimented for over a year with mounting two FPV drones on Shaheds or Gerbers, controlled via LTE modems, but the system is inefficient and rarely used. He noted FPV drones often lose connection and fall, and on jet-powered drones they would be blown off. The statement comes amid nine consecutive days of Russian jet-powered Shahed attacks on Kyiv, with seven air alerts on September 3 and reported warehouse damage in the region. On September 4, a fire occurred in a non-residential area of Solomianskyi district, though no official confirmation exists of a reported drone strike on an aircraft at Zhuliany airport.
