UK thunderstorm warnings issued for Sunday with hail and lightning risk

The Met Office has issued yellow thunderstorm warnings for most of the UK on Sunday, with lightning, hail, and up to 40mm of rain possible in some areas. Heavy showers could disrupt driving and public transport, with a risk of flooding to homes and businesses. Two warnings cover south-west England, Wales, parts of south-east England, the Scottish border, Northern Ireland, north-east England, and central Scotland, with wind gusts up to 45mph potentially causing short-term power cuts.
