UK braces for February blizzard with heavy snowfall expected across most regions

A significant blizzard is expected to hit the UK starting February 11, with most regions facing heavy snowfall. Only Northern Ireland and the South West of England are predicted to remain unaffected. Snowfall rates could reach 5 centimeters per hour in some areas, with the Scottish Highlands possibly receiving up to 21 centimeters. Northern England and parts of Scotland are also likely to see substantial snow accumulation. Before this, an Arctic blast will bring snow to 13 cities on January 30, with temperatures dropping to -5C. Areas at risk include Bath, Birmingham, and Manchester, among others.
