Udupi MLAs to meet Karnataka Chief Minister ahead of legislature session

Legislators from Udupi will meet Chief Minister Siddaramaiah before the upcoming legislature session to discuss key issues in the district. Minister Laxmi Hebbalkar announced this during a quarterly meeting focused on local concerns. Hebbalkar emphasized the need for swift completion of drinking water supply work from the Varahi River. She also called for a report on groundwater changes due to a new check dam and urged prompt lake development. The minister noted that 80% of the Hejmadi fishing port's development is complete and requested the remaining work be finished. She addressed issues with solid waste disposal in rural areas and highlighted the need to reduce plastic waste.
