Two suspects arrested in ATM robbery in Mayiladuthurai district

Police have arrested two suspects in an ATM robbery at an Indian Bank branch in Mayiladuthurai district. The robbery, which took place on January 5, resulted in a theft of ₹6.08 lakh. Following a complaint from the branch manager, police began an investigation, analyzing CCTV footage and tracking known offenders. On January 10, officers stopped two individuals on a motorcycle and found bundles of cash in their possession. The suspects, identified as D. Wilbert Raj and R. Vignesh, confessed to the crime. Police recovered ₹3.35 lakh, a mobile phone, and a silver chain from them. Both suspects are now in judicial custody.
