Two Iranian women footballers who defied Tehran by not singing the national anthem have become Australian citizens. Ramezanisadeh and Pasandideh were among seven Iranian team members granted humanitarian visas during the Women's Asian Cup in March; five others changed their minds and returned. They were feared to face repercussions after refusing to sing the anthem, days after US-Israeli strikes on Iran began.
