Two Bulacan policemen honored posthumously for bravery

Two policemen, Police Staff Sergeant Dennis Cudiamat and Police Staff Sergeant Gian George Dela Cruz, were awarded the “Medalya ng Kadakilaan” (Heroism Medal) on March 12 for their bravery during an anti-illegal firearms operation in Bulacan. The officers were killed while enforcing a gun ban during a high-risk operation when armed suspects opened fire. They were recognized for their sacrifice as intelligence officers of the Bocaue police. Police Region 3 Director Brig. Gen. Jean Fajardo expressed support for the families of the fallen officers, promising assistance and emphasizing that their heroism would be remembered.
