TWG Tea opens largest global flagship at Changi Airport with first permanent museum
TWG Tea has opened its largest store worldwide at Singapore Changi Airport, featuring its first permanent museum. The 2,700 sq ft flagship, named TWG Tea Gallery, opened airside on Oct 1 and houses over 1,000 teas alongside antique collections. The store includes a museum with more than 170 antique tea wares and 50 Russian samovars spanning the 17th to 20th centuries. It offers takeaway tea, exclusive ice cream flavours, and unique creations like the Grand Voyage Tea, designed for travellers with limited time. The Gallery replaces a traditional tea salon, focusing on boutique and patisserie sales. It features a painted ceiling map of tea-growing regions and uses stone for the first time. TWG Tea, founded in 2008, now operates over 70 locations across 20 countries.
