Twenty percent of candidates skip CNU 2025 essay exams nationwide

The second edition of the National Unified Competition (CNU) saw a 20% no-show rate for its essay exams on Sunday, December 7, 2025. Approximately 8,500 of the 42,000 registered candidates did not attend the exams held across 228 cities nationwide. The Ministry of Management and Innovation reported the process was smooth and secure. The ministry also announced that all positions from the previous year's CNU have been filled, with over two thousand people called from the reserve list. Preliminary essay scores are expected January 23, 2026.
