"Blood Cruise" is based on a novel by Mats Strandberg. It tells the story of a cruise ship where passengers and crew face an ancient evil. They must unite to survive as they find themselves in a terrifying situation at sea. The cast includes well-known actors like Björn Bengtsson and Kolbjörn Skarsgård. The series was produced by Andy Serkis’ Imaginarium Productions and Northern Fable. It has support from various Nordic public broadcasters and the Nordic Film & TV Fund. Jonas Alexander Arnby directs the series, while the writing team includes Strandberg and Malin LagerLöf. The show was recently showcased at the Göteborg Film Festival and is set to appear at Series Mania. The creators believe "Blood Cruise" combines Scandinavian drama with horror. They view it as a unique and ambitious project featuring talented European actors. Series Mania runs from today until March 27.
