Tsai witnessed Taiwan-Lithuania agricultural tech success in Lithuania

Former Taiwanese President Tsai Ing-wen visited Leafood, a vertical farm in Lithuania, showcasing successful agricultural technology cooperation between Taiwan and Lithuania. Leafood, the largest vertical farm in Europe, was established two years ago with technology and equipment from Taiwan's Yuan-Sen Agricultural Biotechnology. The farm produces 1,000 kilograms of vegetables daily, meeting about 10% of Lithuania's daily vegetable needs. Tsai observed the farm's hydroponic cultivation, which is unaffected by Lithuania's harsh winters. This visit is part of Tsai's second European trip since leaving office. Leafood's products are sold in several European countries, and the company plans further expansion with Taiwanese partners.
