Trump National Doral's Blue Monster will host a PGA Tour Championship Series event in 2028, marking Miami's only PGA Tour stop as part of the tour's new schedule overhaul. The Cadillac Championship will also remain a signature event in 2027. The tour returned to the course in March for the first time since 2016, with Cameron Young winning by six shots. The Championship Series, announced in June, will feature roughly 23 or 24 tournaments, including The Players, majors, and playoffs, running from February through August. The full 2028 schedule is pending, while the Cognizant Classic in the Palm Beaches remains uncertain after 2027. Next year's Florida swing includes the Cognizant Classic, Cadillac Championship, The Players, and Arnold Palmer Invitational.
