Trudeau seeks to share foreign interference information with Poilievre
Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has asked national security services to share information with Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre about foreign interference affecting his party. Trudeau mentioned that some Conservative members have been linked to this issue. Trudeau stated that he is working to ensure Poilievre receives relevant information to protect his caucus. He noted that members from other parties, including the Liberals, have also been flagged for foreign interference. Poilievre has declined to obtain top-level security clearance, arguing it would limit his ability to hold the government accountable. He accused Trudeau of dishonesty regarding foreign interference and challenged him to release the names of those involved.
