The incident occurred at Amberi Kalay Chowk when a speeding truck crashed into pedestrians and vehicles due to brake failure. Rescue officials reported that the injured were taken to District Headquarters Hospital Karak, with six in critical condition sent to Peshawar. Among the deceased were a woman and a four-year-old child. This incident follows a similar tragedy in March 2024, when eight people died after a pickup truck fell into a gorge in Buner.
