Treasury delays analysis of UK's Nato spending commitment

The Treasury has not analyzed how to fund the UK's 3.5% of GDP defense spending promise to Nato. Chief Secretary Lucy Rigby stated that decisions on funding the commitment, made by Prime Minister Keir Starmer, are for "the next prime minister" to make. This lack of planning follows the resignation of former Defence Secretary John Healey and comes as the government aims for 3% defense spending in the next parliament.
