Traffic stop in Cambridge leads to drug and firearm seizure
A traffic stop in Cambridge led to the seizure of fentanyl, methamphetamine, and a loaded firearm. The Guernsey County Sheriff's Office announced charges against Kristopher Whitehair, 40, and James Edward, 47, for multiple drug-related felonies. Detectives suspected the men were traveling to Columbus to buy narcotics for sale in Guernsey County. During the stop on January 28, officers found drugs in the vehicle and nearby, which had been discarded from the driver's window. Whitehair faces several serious charges, including trafficking and possession of fentanyl. Edwards has also been charged with complicity in drug offenses.
