Traffic jam on Johor Causeway causes delays for travelers to Singapore

A major traffic jam is affecting the Johor Causeway, with delays of two to three hours reported for travelers heading to Singapore. The congestion began around 2 PM and extends from Singapore's Woodlands checkpoint to Johor Baru. Despite all vehicle counters at the Bangunan Sultan Iskandar Customs, Immigration and Quarantine being open, a high volume of vehicles is causing significant delays. Traffic police are monitoring the situation, which is expected to last until midnight. Bus passengers have cleared Malaysian Immigration but are unable to reach their buses due to the jam. Heavy rain is also impacting visibility along the Causeway.
