Toyota to Launch Upgraded Lexus NX Globally by Year-End

Toyota Motor announced on September 1 that it will release a partially improved new model of its luxury SUV, the Lexus NX, sequentially across global markets starting from the end of this year. The new NX will offer plug-in hybrid and hybrid versions, featuring a next-generation hybrid system for improved fuel efficiency and driving performance. The plug-in hybrid model includes a newly developed lithium-ion battery, extending its EV-mode driving range to 140 kilometers. The exterior design integrates functional parts like headlamps with the grille for a sportier look, while the interior includes a "Sensory Concierge" feature that uses light and scent. Since its debut in 2014, the NX has sold approximately 1.9 million units across over 90 countries and regions as of the end of July.
