Toronto police search for suspect in September homicide

Toronto police are looking for a person of interest in a homicide that took place last September. The victim, Joey Omar Black, was 26 years old and was shot on September 30. He was found in a parking lot near Lawrence Avenue West and Allen Road. Officers arrived on the scene shortly before midnight. Black was taken to the hospital but sadly died from his injuries. In a recent update, police released a description of a man they believe may have information about the case. The suspect is described as a man aged between 18 and 22. He is about five-foot-seven to five-foot-nine tall with a thin build. At the time, he was wearing a black hooded jacket, black pants, a black face covering, black shoes, and orange gloves. Police are also seeking information about a white four-door sedan linked to the investigation. They urge anyone with information, including dash camera or video footage from that night, to reach out.
