Toronto braces for chilly weekend with pumpkin parades and transit changes
Toronto is set for a chilly weekend after a warm Halloween. Saturday's high will be 9 C with sunny skies, while Sunday may reach 13 C. Nighttime temperatures will drop to around 2 C and 5 C, respectively.
Transit changes will affect travel this weekend. There will be no subway service from Victoria Park to Kennedy Stations, with shuttle buses in place. The 512 streetcar route is also diverted due to ongoing repairs.
Residents can participate in pumpkin parades at select parks on Friday. The Fall Art Show and Sale will showcase over 400 original artworks at Centennial Recreation Centre on Saturday and Sunday.
