Tokyo has launched a campaign offering 11,000 yen in points to residents, but the app experienced access issues on its first day. The "Tokyo App Life Support Project" requires users to verify their identity with a My Number card to receive the points, which can be exchanged for various other points. The campaign is open to Tokyo residents aged 15 and over and runs until April 1, 2027.
