Toho International acquires North American animation distributor GKIDS

GKIDS, a North American animation distributor, has been acquired by Japan's Toho International. GKIDS will operate as a wholly-owned subsidiary, with its current CEO Eric Beckman and president Dave Jesteadt remaining in their roles. This acquisition allows Toho to enhance its presence in international markets and strengthen its animation focus.
