Toffoli lifts suspension on Grassi's digital campaign and electoral funds

The decision also allows Grassi to participate in debates across radio, television, podcasts, and other media. Toffoli's ruling came after Grassi's campaign failed to meet the deadline to register all social media profiles with the court, submitting eight accounts on August 28, 17 days after his candidacy registration. The minister cited the need to ensure equality among candidates, though he noted the measures were not punitive but precautionary. The decision mirrors Toffoli's action on Tuesday for candidate Renan Santos, whose suspension was also lifted. A survey revealed over 2,700 candidates had not reported their social media accounts to electoral authorities, with unregistered profiles remaining subject to platform recommendation algorithms.
