Tiruchi's Panjapur bus terminal will open soon

The newly opened Panjapur integrated bus terminal in Tiruchi is expected to be fully operational within weeks, significantly improving transportation infrastructure. Officials are finalizing operational and maintenance plans, including shop setups and bus service transfers from the Central Bus Stand to the new facility, which was inaugurated Friday. A tender for operation and maintenance is underway. The terminal features 401 bus bays and eight platforms, with services for long-distance, short-trip, mofussil, and city buses. The shift is expected to take about three weeks once amenities are ready.
